Use these instructions to utilize the Hayward conference room display in Zoom meetings
To complete these processes, you will need:
- The Hayward Conference Room TV remote
- The Hayward Conference Room Zoom Room Controller – this iPad is kept on the shelf under the television.
- The Hayward Conference Room contact in Outlook – I sent this to all Zoom users to add to their contacts. If you’re missing this please let me know.
To Start a Meeting:
- Using the television remote, switch the input to HDMI 3/ARC.
- On the Zoom Room Controller, select New Meeting
- To invite other ACE users to the meeting, tap Invite, select the users you need, and tap Invite.
- To invite external users, tap Invite, tap Email, tap the Email field under “To:”, enter the email address of the person you’d like to invite and tap Send.
To add the Hayward display to a scheduled Zoom meeting and join the meeting:
- Create the scheduled Zoom meeting normally, then open it in Outlook, select Scheduling Assistant, then under Resource, select Add Resource.
- Select Hayward Conference Room, then select Send.
- When you’re ready to start your meeting, switch the TV input to HDMI 3/ARC as per the “To Start a Meeting” instructions above, then on the Zoom Room Controller, locate the scheduled meeting and select Start.
